Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat junior cross country runner, Danielle Prchal (Omaha) cut nearly two minutes off of her season best at the Dean White Invitational held on the campus of Doane College. Prchal ran the 5K course in 23:16.06 and finished 34th out of 55 runners.

Athletes of the Month
Women's Basketball
Potter did earn the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) Player of the Week honors on Jan. 23 having led the Bobcat women to their first two wins of the season. In the two wins, Potter averaged 16.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 3.5 assists. During those two games, Potter rarely was off the court.
Having started the season slowly in scoring, but is now averaging just under ten points at 9.88, good for second on the team. Against Central Methodist, Potter had a career-high 25 and hit seven of 12 three-pointers while keeping her Bobcat team in the game. Her scoring average is 16th in the HAAC.

Men's Basketball
Williams was in double figures seven of nine games in January and averaged 22 points a game over the last four games of the month. In addition, Williams improved upon his defense and led the team several times during the month in rebounding.
Presently, Williams is leading the team in scoring with 20.10 points per game and in assists with 1.76 per game. His scoring average ranks him 15th in NAIA Division I and he is 17th in total scoring with 422 points. In the HAAC, Williams is second in scoring and fifth in field goal shooting percentage at 44.7%.
