Running in her second consecutive Boston Marathon, Peru State College (PSC) senior, Sarah Williams (Hiawatha, Kan.), finished 1,518 out of over 26,000 runners. 

As their season was already over, the Peru State College (PSC) cross country team participated in a different type of race by participating in the Crystal City Cave Run in November.
 

(Peru, Neb.) – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Friday that 296 women's cross country student-athletes have been named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Running in their final “official” meet of the year, the Bobcat cross country team competed in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) meet in Fayette, Mo.  The HAAC meet was hosted by Central Methodist University.

(Peru, Neb.) – In its last regular season competition, the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat cross country team ran in the NAIA Mid-States Classic hosted by Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan.

The Nebraska's Toughest Mile competition will take place on Saturday, Oct. 15, in Peru, Nebraska. The race, conducted by Peru State College's cross country coach, Dr. Johann Murray, will be run at 10 a.m. in one of Nebraska's hilliest small towns, that being Peru!

(Peru, Neb.) - Sarah Williams' (Hiawatha, Kan.) personal-best time in a five-kilometer race two weeks ago in Crete, Nebraska, earned her fifth place in a NAIA cross country meet. Another personal best on Sunday, Oct. 9, had her in a combination of joy and having nothing left to give.
