(Peru, Neb.) – If area softball players want to sharpen their softball skills, the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcat softball team will be offering three different opportunities for players to do so this spring.
Sunday Hitting League
Starting on Sunday, Jan. 15, the Bobcats will be hosting a “Sunday Hitting League.” For six consecutive weeks, participants will have the opportunity to hit with instruction from PSC coaches and players for two hours. During those two hours, participants will choose when they are ready and will get 25 pitches on which they will be scored. After six weeks, a League Champion will be crowned.
The dates for the hitting league will be Jan. 15, Jan. 22, Jan. 29, Feb. 5, Feb. 12, and Feb. 19. The league will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The cost for the hitting league will be $10 per participant per week or $50 for six weeks.
Pitching, Catching, and Hitting Camp
On Sunday, Jan. 29, the softball team and coaches will be hosting a “Pitching, Catching, and Hitting Camp.”
This camp will be divided into two sessions with pitching and catching taking place from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., the focus will be on hitting.
The cost for the camp will be $35 per participant per session or $60 if participants participate in both.
FUNdamentals Camp
The Bobcats will be hosting their annual “FUNdamentals Camp” on Sunday, March 18, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The entire four-hour session will focus on the fundamentals of the game. The cost for this camp is $45 and participants will receive a t-shirt.

In addition to enrolling for a camp, each participant will need to complete a liability release and medical form that can be found on the same website.
